WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Anyone who cares for infants and children, such as parents, guardians, or grandparents, should take the Emergency Paediatric First Aid course. This course has been designed to meet the criteria of the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and covers the key paediatric First Aid skills needed to deal with an emergency paediatric First Aid situation such as choking or minor injuries.

If you work in an Early Years setting such as a nursery or school, we would reccommend that you attend a 2-day Paediatric First Aid course as it is OFSTED recognised.  

CERTIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT

A variety of teaching approaches, including real-life scenario examples and videos, will be utilised to guarantee that you have obtained the skills and knowledge necessary to become a proficient Paediatric First Aider. At the conclusion of the course, there will be a multiple-choice exam.

Each delegate will receive certification as a responsible Paediatric First Aider in the workplace after successfully completing this course. Certificates are valid for three years and are accredited by the First Aid Industry Body by default (FAIB).
