The Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health course is perfect for individuals that want to increase their knowledge and increase the awareness of Mental Health for themselves and others such as colleagues and friends.

The topic of mental health has seen a substantial growth, and rightly so. In recent years and arguably right now it has been a taboo topic, but when it comes to family, friends, and colleagues there is nothing taboo about it. One of the main objectives of this course is to help identify people who may be suffering with it and how to help people through a better understanding of the topic. CERTIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT

Real-life scenario examples, videos, and group activities will be used as teaching methods to guarantee that you have obtained the knowledge and understanding to promote awareness of Mental Health. This course can be taken online through Zoom or in person with one of our Mental Health and Wellbeing instructors. At the end of the course, there will be a multiple-choice exam.

Each delegate will receive a certificate indicating that they have completed the Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health course. Certificates are valid for three years and are accredited by the First Aid Awards by default (FAA).
